Biography
Roberta brings a wealth of experience as both a project architect and project manager, leading multidisciplinary consulting teams across various justice and institutional sectors.
Her specialized expertise lies in security design, where she adeptly integrates physical, technological, and operational security measures. Throughout her tenure at Parkin, she has lent her expertise to an array of institutional projects, including correctional facilities, courts, and law enforcement establishments within Canada and internationally. Her contributions reflect a dedication to advancing security standards and excellence in justice-related architecture.
Roberta holds memberships with the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and with the Academy of Architecture for Justice (AAJ), a knowledge community of the AIA. Roberta is also a founding member and Corrections Chair of the Canadian Academy of Architecture for Justice (CAAJ), affiliated with AIA/AAJ.
