Biography
Robert is an accomplished principal with a wealth of experience in various building typologies, including corrections, physical and mental health care, and education. As an adjunct professor at Carleton University, he leads graduate architectural courses on designing in Canada’s north and has also lectured at several other universities.
Robert has served as a director of the Ontario Heritage Association and commissioner on the Niagara Escarpment Commission. His involvement in government agencies has earned him numerous awards, including the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal and a Citation for Design Excellence from the American Institute of Architects/American Academy of Justice. With a special focus on working with Indigenous peoples, Robert emphasizes the importance of collaboration, listening, and respect in all his projects.
