York Regional Police (YRP) moved into their new No. 1 District Headquarters in the first week of January 2022. The 45,000 sq.ft. multi-level building is situated on 2.86 acres at 429 Harry Walker Parkway South, in the Town of Newmarket.
The completed building was turned over on time and budget achieving Passive House Principles. The consultant team is finalizing closeout documents and preparing to make a submission to CAGBC for LEED Silver status.
The facility operates 24 hours/day, 365 days/year.
