We are pleased to announce that the latest phase of Waterloo Recreation Complex is close to completion. Occupancy of the Community Pavilion was achieved in the Fall of 2021, and total project completion is slated for the Spring of 2022 when site work, landscaping, and paving will be completed. Although The City of Waterloo has achieved occupancy, regularly scheduled activities and programs have been suspended due to current COVID regulations.
Popular with residents, the expanded facility comprises an exceptional range of services, providing Waterloo with a first-rate athletic facility having the feel of a community centre. Evolving future needs are facilitated by inclusion of expansion space. We take pleasure in providing this growing community with an expanded and even more enjoyable communal space.
