Parkin Architects Limited designed the Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre’s new Brain Imaging Centre, which opened in the spring of 2016. Its new PET-MRI technology is the first of its kind in Canada dedicated to mental health research. The PET-MRI gives the Centre’s researchers a window into the brain, enabling them to take mental health research to the next level, and allowing them to develop new, personalized treatments to improve individual patient progress.
