Today on Remembrance Day I would ask that we all take some time today, for however long, together or singularly, to think about the fact that many have been affected by violence…. be it on the battlefield, or elsewhere. Many have sacrificed their lives in the service of others, either in the past, presently in places like Syria or North America, and unfortunately in the future. I hope we take the time to count our blessings for the actions of those who gave so much, and that their actions will act as a source of thought and inspiration not only on November 11, but every day of the year.

We are so very lucky.
