Robert Boraks to Present at American Institute of Architects Conference

Robert Boraks, a Director of Parkin Architects Limited, will participate in a panel discussion on Behavioral Health within Correctional Facilities at the 2019 American Institute of Architects annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Robert specializes in the fields of Justice, Healthcare and Education, and has helped define the Parkin practice as providers of Social Architecture. In addition to being Parkin’s lead Justice designer, he heads up the Northern Design portfolio. He has participated in the design of numerous correctional facilities in Canada, the Middle East, and the Carribean. Robert has won a number of international design awards including the American Institute of Architects/AAJ Citation for Design Excellence. He is an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture, and a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.
