Repulse Bay High School is nearing completion with just over a month to go before the contractor makes a submission for substantial completion.
The site is still experiencing late winter conditions with the average temperature well below 0 degrees and occasional snow flurries.
The completion of the exterior work includes final installation of minor building envelope details, exterior ramps and stairs, and final site work.
The completion of the interior work includes finalizing the installation of the interior finishes, and the installation of the furniture, fixtures and equipment.
The next site visit will include full commissioning of the building and a detailed review of any outstanding deficient architectural work.
It is anticipated that the client will be able to move in this summer, and begin the school year as scheduled.
