York Regional Police headquarters will be moving to the third floor theCentralServicesBuilding. Approval was granted by The York Region Police Services Board on March 21, 2012 and design work will commence shortly.
The building is currently home to highly trained investigative and support officers and an administration team. Following completion of the shelled in level 3, the building will house approximately 700 police employees in the 237,900-square-foot building.
Architect of record for theCentralServicesBuilding, Parkin has been awarded the project for work on the third floor and also designed York Region’s 2 District police station inRichmond Hill in 2004.
