The Canadian Collaborative Contracts Conference is the first national event dedicated to advancing collaborative approaches in public infrastructure delivery. Hosted by Infrastructure BC, the conference takes place April 27–29, 2026 at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler in Whistler, B.C. It includes an interactive Alliance workshop, followed by two days of keynotes, panels, case studies, and networking with leaders from government, industry, and procurement sectors. The program focuses on collaborative delivery models such as Alliance contracts, Progressive Design-Build, and Integrated Project Delivery—sharing expertise, strengthening partnerships, and building capacity for future infrastructure projects across Canada.
Parkin Principal Shane Czypyha joins a panel discussion titled “Shaping Projects Together: Managing Design Development in Collaborative Contracts” on April 28, 2026. Attendees will hear insights from designers, owners, and contractors on effective design management in collaborative environments, how design is developed differently on collaborative projects, how best-for-project decisions are made, and how changes are managed throughout the design process.
