Exciting news! Parkin Principal Robert Boraks is presenting at the International Research in Corrections Conference (IRCC) on March 5, 2026, hosted by the International Corrections and Prisons Association.
Robert’s paper, titled Designing and Building Effective Short Term Detention Facilities, will be presented under the conference sub‑theme Innovation Driving Safer Correctional Environments. The paper reflects Parkin’s research and outcomes from the recently completed Correctional Facility Planning Study undertaken for the Government of Alberta.
