Parkin is pleased to be working with Coles Associates Ltd., TEK Consultants Ltd., Province of Prince Edward Island, and FitzGerald and Snow (2010) Ltd. on the new addition to the women’s unit at the Provincial Correctional Centre in Miltonvale, P.E.I. The 22,000 SF project comprises a 22-cell secure housing area with 34 beds, increased support spaces, and a new health services area serving both male and female populations.
Most importantly, the new visiting area will include a space where mothers can hold their children.
