We are pleased to announce that Parkin Principal, Robert Boraks, has been selected to present his research at the International Research in Corrections Conference (IRCC) in March 2026. Hosted by the ICPA—widely recognized as the world’s leading authority in corrections—the IRCC brings together international experts to advance research, innovation, and best practices in the justice sector.
Robert’s abstract was accepted based on extensive research and analysis undertaken as part of Parkin’s recent work with the Government of Alberta. The study offers meaningful insights into contemporary corrections environments, and its acceptance reflects the strength and rigour of Parkin’s contribution to justice-sector design.
Both Infrastructure Alberta and the Ministry of Public Safety and Emergency Services are allowing the sharing of selective information to help support the evolution of good design and practice.
This milestone not only highlights Robert’s leadership but also underscores Parkin’s growing influence in international corrections research and design.
