To kick off October National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Parkin had a Breast Cancer Fighter speak at the biweekly Friday morning social Breakfast session on September 28, 2018. Nadine Parsons, a remarkable cancer fighter, shared her journey and spoke about the importance of self- examinations, regular health visits with your doctor, as well as, looking beyond age and family history.
