We are delighted to announce that Robert Boraks has been made a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada. Robert is Parkin’s lead designer for justice, education and northern design. He has received appointments to government agencies focusing on environmental and heritage issues and has lectured at several universities. He has won a number of international design awards including the American Institute of Architects/AAJ Citation for Design Excellence. Robert was recently appointed as an Adjunct Professor at Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture where he leads a graduate design studio.
Robert is an advocate of Parkin’s focus on Social Architecture. His designs address human dignity, healing, learning and empowerment irrespective of age, impairment, racial profile or judicial disposition.
