Parkin Architects Limited is pleased to announce that Robin Snell has been appointed as a company Director. His leadership reinforces Parkin’s long-standing reputation as one of the leading healthcare architectural practices in Canada.
In his 25 years’ career with Parkin, Robin has been responsible for a wide range of healthcare projects, ranging from master planning studies to the implementation of projects of any size, and using various procurement models. With previous healthcare project experience in Alberta and British Columbia, he is now working in Ontario, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia on major P3 (DBFM) hospital projects. Passion for healthcare, strong leadership skills, and robust experience drive him to reach or exceed best practice healthcare goals—and to successful project outcomes.
He is an advocate for evidence-based design (EBD) and leads the Parkin EBD team in collaboration with the Cornell University Design + Environmental Analysis program. Robin is actively involved with several CSA standards committees for healthcare facility design, and is an EDAC and LEED accredited professional.
Former Directors, Lind Nyman and David Driscoll continue to support the firm’s growth as managing Principals in the recreation and institutional sectors.
