Optimizing Healing Environments for the Vulnerable and Underserved

On May 8 and 9, 2023, the Canadian Centre for Healthcare Facilities (CCHF) will host a conference at the Burnaby Hotel and Conference Centre in British Columbia.

The CCHF has planned an agenda that shares recent transformations in innovating healing environments across several health environments, including LTC, complex care children/adults, and hospitals.

Sessions will address vulnerable populations in healthcare including ethnic minorities, children, the elderly, the socio-economically disadvantaged, and people with complex care conditions (more than one medical condition).

Parkin is pleased to have Director, Cameron Shantz, Principal, Shane Cyzphya, and Senior Interior Designer, Mary Chernoff listed as speakers in this year’s conference.

On Day 1, Shane and Mary will participate in the session entitled: A unique model of Care and Award Winning Design at the Red Fish Healing Centre”
