Parkin submitted the Arvilligruaq Illiniarvik School project for the spring 2020 LEARNING BY DESIGN Educational Facilities Design Awards.
The submission was judged by a jury of five architects and educational facility specialists. They determined that: the school met the judging criteria, is of contemporary learning space standard, exhibits design attributes that others may emulate, and was deemed to receive an Outstanding Project Award. As an Outstanding Project Award recipient, Arvilligruaq Illiniarvik School is published in both the printed edition of LEARNING BY DESIGN Magazine and at learningbydesignmagazine.com.
