mid-December 2018 meeting explored Parkin’s design proposal for the renewal of Minden Hills Arena. Members of the Township of Minden Hills Arena Building Task Force—including Mayor Brent Devolin— and public attendees had a chance to view a virtual reality model, a 3D-printed model, and presentation boards describing the design.
Parkin, Vice President, Mario Pistone, described the process that took place through the validation stage, including an update on the state of the current facility and the proposed revitalization design plan. The design proposal includes a new gymnasium, arena and community hub, along with an accessible link to the existing facility. The Public had an opportunity to speak directly with members of the task force throughout the presentation and during the Q&A panel.
