Kids with Incarcerated Parents (KIP) Canada is the only organization in Ontario providing supportive programming to children affected by parental incarceration. For the past 11 years, Jessica Reid, the co-founder of KIP Canada, has advocated for these children and walked to raise the awareness of the necessity to support their unique needs. This year, KIP Canada is organizing 4 separate walks on October 15th, 2022, starting at 10 AM and every 2 hours thereafter. Each walk will begin at the Franklin Horner Community Center.
Community members and other interested individuals are invited to walk with the KIP team (~5kms) to show their support and help raise funds for vital supportive programs. Together, we can build brighter futures and help break the cycle of intergenerational crime.
Parkin will be participating in the event and invite you to join us.
