Canadian Architect (magazine) reached out with an article asking firms with access to a 3D printer to participate in a printing initiative to create visor frames for use by the medical community in treating COVID-19 patients at Toronto’s Michael Garron Hospital.
With the use of an instructional video and an STL template for the frames, Parkin is contributing to the cause to assist the hospital’s goal of collecting 10,000 frames.
When received, the hospital will sanitize the frames and assemble them with face shields and elastics for use by medical staff.
