ErinoakKids has 3 sites that provide children’s treatment including rehabilitation and support services to children with disabilities in Mississauga, Brampton and Oakville.
The Brampton site is the largest facility, it is built on a 8.5 acre greenfield site. It includes rehabilitation treatment areas, IBI and ABA pods, a 23 bed respite facility, gymnasium, therapeutic pool, education suite, medical assessment clinic, drama/music/art therapy spaces, family resource facility, central equipment depot and support facilities.
Part of Parkin’s role as PDC consultants for all three sites was to lead a multi-disciplinary consultant team, including functional programmers, engineers, accessibility consultants, ergonomists, food service consultants, landscape architects, and wayfinding and signage consultants.
