April marks Autism Acceptance Month, and in acknowledgment of this important month, Parkin hosted a Friday Morning Breakfast session for our staff to promote awareness about autism acceptance. During the session, we delved into designing spaces that are inclusive and supportive of individuals with autism.
Our discussion was led by individuals with personal connections to autism, offering invaluable insights into designing autism-friendly environments. We covered key design considerations such as acoustics, lighting, spatial configuration, and materials. By integrating these elements into our designs, we not only cater to the specific needs of autistic individuals but also create spaces that are timeless, enjoyable, and multifunctional for everyone.
Join us in celebrating Autism Acceptance Month by embracing inclusivity and understanding in our communities and spaces.
