The construction of the RCMP detachment facility in Arivat, Nunavut has resumed after a four-month winter break. The contractor remobilized on site in early April to clear the site of snow and resume the exterior work. The building envelope will be completed over the next month, including installation of the exterior cladding, windows and doors. The exterior stairs, which are separate structures from the main building, are also being assembled over the next month. The interior work, which includes steel stud framing, mechanical and electrical rough-ins, is well underway.
