Anova is a provincially funded clinic for fertility treatment and minimally invasive gyneacological procedures, located in a high rise commercial office building. The clinic occupies two spaces within the building, both of which were gutted to create a state-of-the-art Fertility and IVF Clinic. The IVF Clinic includes a next-generation IVF facility with three labs, three procedure rooms, a preparation and recovery area with five individual areas, each of which has a recliner for the woman and bench seating for her partner, complete with a computer docking station. The Fertility Clinic houses the doctors’ offices, ultrasound suite, counselling rooms and administrative offices.
Parkin’s design is “woman-centred”, created to support Anova’s clientele in their fertility journeys, while the Embryology and Androgyny laboratories are designed to meet the highest standards for IVF Clinics.
