We are both proud and saddened to announce the retirement of David Brown, Senior Associate and Senior Architectural Technologist at Parkin, effective December 31, 2024.
For decades, David has been an integral part of Parkin, guiding projects from initial design through to construction completion. His expertise in creating detailed plans, elevations, building sections, and his specialized focus on laboratory design has left an indelible mark on the firm.
As the Senior Technologist within Parkin’s laboratory design group, David brought unmatched attention to detail and extensive knowledge of laboratory types, equipment, and systems. He played a vital role during the construction documentation phase, ensuring precision in architectural detailing and seamless coordination between Parkin and its sub-consultants. During the construction phase, his rigorous review of shop drawings and technical support consistently elevated the quality of Parkin’s projects.
In addition to his technical expertise, David served as the firm’s Systems Manager, overseeing the purchase and implementation of hardware, software, and office systems. His stewardship extended to ensuring disaster recovery measures were always in place, safeguarding the firm’s technological backbone.
David’s dedication, meticulous approach, and extensive expertise have been instrumental to Parkin’s success. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for his outstanding contributions and wish him the very best in his retirement. Please join us in celebrating David’s remarkable career and legacy.
