Parkin and B+H Architects are part of the winning team selected to design, build, finance, and maintain a portion of the long-awaited—and long-promised—new hospital in Corner Brook, Newfoundland and Labrador.
Premier Dwight Ball announced the Corner Brook Health Partnership as the consortium selected to execute the $750 million contract.
The consortium comprises the Plenary Group Ltd., PCL Constructors Canada Inc., Marco Services Ltd., and Johnson Controls Canada.
The new facility is a public-private partnership (P3), a model the NL government is using for other projects, such as the replacement for Waterford Hospital, Eastern Health, and Her Majesty’s Penitentiary, both located in St. John’s.
