Strengthening our leadership in sustainable and resilient design, Parkin is excited to welcome Beth Lavelle as Regional Sustainability Manager in Toronto. A registered architect in Oregon and LEED AP, Beth brings more than 15 years of experience as a sustainability strategist, architect, and design leader, helping clients achieve ambitious environmental performance goals across healthcare, research, higher education, public sector, housing, and commercial projects.
Throughout her career, Beth has guided the integration of sustainable design strategies on projects ranging from major hospital developments and research facilities to net-zero energy and mass timber buildings. Her expertise includes carbon reduction, healthy materials, energy and water efficiency, building performance certification, and integrated design processes that align sustainability objectives with client priorities.
Beth has worked on a diverse portfolio of high-performance projects, including healthcare facilities, life sciences buildings, public infrastructure, and educational environments. Her collaborative approach is rooted in understanding each client’s unique goals and developing solutions that support long-term resilience and environmental stewardship.
A recognized thought leader in sustainable design, Beth has presented at industry conferences and forums focused on climate action, net-zero design, building performance, and sustainable development.
