Parkin principals Rebecca MacDonald and Lynne Wilson Orr joined internationally recognized nursing leaders at Euro Nursing 2026 in Berlin, Germany to share insights and practical strategies at the intersection of healthcare, research, and the built environment.
Their session, “Beyond Clinical Care: Environmental Design Strategies that Enhance Women’s Sense of Safety”, was presented on April 1, 2026. Rebecca and Lynne demonstrated that Evidence-based Design Research has provided us with some unique insights that we have used to create safe and supportive environments for women and their families.
