Our Ottawa office recently hosted a hands-on, student-led design charrette focused on creating a temporary paper wall installation. Students developed foldable paper templates, and our team came together over a lovely lunch to fold the forms and prepare them for mounting.
Once assembled, the team collaborated to bring the installation to life, using the students’ inspiration of “river” or flowing water—a nod to our proximity to the Ottawa River. The final design beautifully captures the sense of flow and turbulence in an abstract, dynamic form.
This exercise was more than just an installation—it challenged our dexterity, craft, abstraction skills, and teamwork, resulting in a final piece we are proud to share.
