We’re thrilled to announce that our team—Parkin Architects, in joint venture with Adamson Associates Architects and supported by Jodin Lamarre Architectes—has been awarded the Trillium Health Partners Broader Redevelopment Project: The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital and The Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children. The project will be delivered through the ED+PCL Healthcare Partners consortium.
This landmark $13.9 billion contract, awarded by Infrastructure Ontario and Trillium Health Partners in partnership with the Government of Ontario, represents one of the most significant healthcare infrastructure investments in Canadian history. When complete, the new hospital will provide care to over 1.7million patients each year in these state-of-the-art facilities;

- Over 950 beds, all100% private rooms
- 23 operating rooms
- New Diagnostic Imaging suites
- New Lab and Pharmacy
- One of the largest Emergency Departments in Ontario

Drawing on our expertise in patient care, clinical efficiency, and creating supportive environments for patients and staff, the design of The Peter Gilgan Mississauga Hospital and Shah Family Hospital for Women and Children will exemplify Trillium Health Partners’ vision for healthcare delivery.
