As the largest acute care facility in the Fraser Health region, Surrey Memorial Hospital plays a vital role in serving the rapidly growing community of Surrey and the broader South Fraser area. With over 450 acute care beds and the busiest emergency department in British Columbia, the hospital was ready for transformation.
Our expansion and redevelopment project delivered 151 additional beds, improved patient flow, and modernized critical infrastructure—all while creating space for future academic growth and enhanced medical training. The hospital is a revitalized healthcare hub that’s responsive and community-connected.
