Parkin Principal Lynne Wilson Orr Appointed Fellowship by the RAIC

We are delighted to announce that Lynne Wilson Orr has been made a Fellow of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada.

A Principal and shareholder at Parkin, Lynne Wilson Orr is an architect and interior designer with a particular interest and expertise in the design and delivery of health facilities. She is an accomplished medical facilities planner and designer. She was a chapter author of the original Health Canada Family-Centred Maternity and Newborn Care Guidelines and is currently on the committee responsible for their updating and is a member of the USA Consensus Committee for the Recommended Standards for Newborn ICU Design. She was also the team leader for the Maternal Newborn Services and Accessibility and Wayfinding Focus Groups of the Generic Output Specifications developed for Ontario’s Ministry of Health and Long Term Care. She is a member of the CSA Strategic Steering Committee on Healthcare and Well-being.

Lynne will continue contributing her passion for healthcare architecture and making an imprint in the healthcare industry.
