Parkin short-listed for the Valleyview Project in Burnaby, BC

Parkin, with EllisDon, has been short-listed as one of three teams to compete for the Valleyview design-build project in Burnaby, BC, a new hospital that will accommodate 38 beds, as well as academic, program and recreational spaces, with approximately 6,340 sm in net program area.  The facility will accommodate two mental health programs currently housed on the Willingdon and Canada Way sites in Burnaby, BC:

  •  The Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre provided by the Ministry of Children and Family Development; and
  • The Provincial Assessment Centre provided by Community Living British Columbia.

The Valleyview Project is part of the redevelopment of the Riverview Campus, a 244-acre site in Coquitlam that was home to Riverview Hospital.
