New Facility
As part of a major expansion effort, Eli Lilly required a
building to be added to its Scarborough campus. Parkin developed
a design to harmonize with the site's existing buildings, which
featured red brick and black glass. Components of the three-storey
facility include an analytical laboratory, mass spectrometer
laboratory, medical division offices, an auditorium and conference
centre for seating up to 100 people, mechanical spaces and a
courtyard.
