With experience in laboratory design spanning a quarter century, Parkin is a recognized expert in the field. We have completed many types of laboratory projects, from retrofits of current spaces to new facility design for clients that include research institutes, and clinical and pharmaceutical laboratories.

We appreciate that primary considerations in laboratory design are efficient space utilization, productive workflow and flexibility. To that end, we consider day-to-day functionality for users, while examining how the laboratory must evolve and grow over time. Our designs incorporate modular furniture, effective floor plans and "plug and play" infrastructures for the successful and cost-efficient delivery of laboratory services.

Parkin looks beyond typical concerns to consider important issues such as biosafety, contamination and containment, as well as legislative requirements.
