Renovation/Addition
A number of preliminary projects preceded the major redevelopment of Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, a construction project started in 2004. It includes a 136,939 square foot addition on the southwest corner of a narrow site and 145,498 square feet of renovations, focused on portions of the 2 oldest wings. The renovated areas accommodate expanded ambulatory care and diagnostic imaging programs and a completely renovated maternal newborn department.
