New Facility
Parkin designed a replacement building for York Regional Police Division 2 Headquarters as part of a major expansion that would see the addition of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) at the site. The multi-functional building houses a number of departments, including administration, a criminal investigation branch, Scenes of Crime Officer (SOCO) laboratories, police car and evidence storage garages, lock up cells, staff lockers and a gym. The complex also contains a six-bay ambulance garage and support functions for EMS.
