The TTMAC (Terrazzo, Tile and Marble Association of Canada) announced that the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital won the Terrazzo Award.
Celebrating Innovation and Excellence in Public-Private Partnerships, CCPPP (The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships) announced that
Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital is the recipient of the Gold Award for Infrastructure.
Parkin Architects Limited is excited to announce that Restigouche Hospital Center recently achieved LEED Silver certification. All mandatory credits were successfully met.
Good News! For those who follow Parkin on social media, you’ve already heard, our Team (Entuitive/PCL/Parkin) won an award for “Best Use of Labels”.
Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital was featured in The Globe and Mail’s Property Report. The hospital, which opened in December 2015, features “smart” patient rooms and multiple additional technological enhancements.
The article speaks to design features and site layout of the hospital. Parkin Principal and Shareholder, May Chow is also featured in a Q&A session.
Featured in the February 2016 edition, the article discusses the design behind the hospital and the commitment to provide excellent patient care. John Christie (Project Director/Architect) comments on the attention to user experience.
Parkin Architects Limited was featured in the February edition with a focus on 30 years of innovative public design.
We completed work on Qikiqtani General Hospital in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The project has added further northern expertise to our portfolio.
We’re pleased to have participated in the completion of Tuugaalik High School, providing design development, construction documentation and construction review services for the new school.
Construction pace increased and the building is being enclosed. Additional work continues quickly and sub-contractors have now mobilized on site.
Construction is on schedule for the new Halton Regional Police Headquarters in Oakville.
Substantial Performance was certified by the Cost Consultant on November 18, 2016, and occupancy granted by the city of Kingston.
This kids’ area is a renovated space at SickKids. Amenities include a media centre, a stage for live performances, a creative arts area, and a multi-sensory room.
This space opened in the spring of 2016. Its new PET-MRI technology is the first of its kind in Canada dedicated to mental health research, and gives the Centre’s researchers a window into the brain allowing them to develop new, personalized treatments to improve individual patient progress.
