Inauguration of Centretown Community Health Centre (CCHC)

On October 24, 2019, CCHC inaugurated its renovated space. A donor recognition ceremony was organized to cut the ribbon and tour the building.  Parkin was pleased to attend the ceremony and work on this rewarding project.

CCHC embarked on renovations in March 2018 in order to increase space for programs, improve capacity, offer infection control and accessibility for people with disabilities. With substantial completion in May 2019, the Centre is now a welcoming facility that meets quality standards while responding to the needs of the growing community.

CCHC is a nonprofit, multi-service Community Health Centre that has played an active role in the community since 1969. A full range of community services is delivered by a diverse team of professionals. The team includes doctors, nurses, social workers, counsellors, dietitians, community developers, health promoters, and outreach workers.
