The Joseph and Rosalie Segal Family Health Centre nearing completion

Parkin is currently working on The Joseph and Rosalie Segal Family Health Centre, a new, eight-storey mental health and addictions facility located on the Vancouver General Hospital site. Opening late this summer, the Vancouver General Hospital site will provide short-term, acute care to people suffering from depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, psychotic and mood disorders, and drug and alcohol addiction. Tuugaalik High School selected for Outstanding Design by 2017 American School & University Educational Interiors Showcase

Tuugaalik High School, Naujaat, Nunavut has been selected to appear as an Outstanding Design in the 2017 American School & University Educational Interiors Showcase, the premier competition honouring education interiors excellence.

Health minister cuts ribbon for Providence Care Hospital

On May 25, 2017, Ontario Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, Erik Hoskins, cut the ribbon to officially open the new hospital.  The hospital is the first in North America to combine long-term mental health care, physical rehabilitation, and complex-care programs in one building.  The WHIG-STANDARD newspaper provides quotes from both Eric Hoskins and Kingston’s Islands MPP, Sophie Kiwala, praising the hospital’s state-of-the-art approach to health care.  To read more, click on:

Parkin participates in the First published Edition of CSA Z317.14-17 Wayfinding for Health Care Facilities
