The level 5 slab has been cast and the topping off celebration was on June 1, 2016. The upper penthouse framing and steel framing continues for the north and south buildings. Concrete slabs for the level 2 penthouses to be poured in the next week with slab-on-grade to follow. Mechanical and electrical rough-in continues and mechanical units to be hoisted into place in the next few weeks. Masonry is to commence very shortly starting with interior partitioning on the lower levels.
All concrete slabs are now complete, with interior masonry underway. Roofing is to commence in the next few weeks followed by the exterior envelope and interior partitioning. Mechanical and electrical rough-ins are on-going and the firing range envelope and structural steel framing is complete.

Visited by The Honorable Dr. Eric Hoskins, Ontario’s Minister of Health and Long-Term Care, on March 31, 2016, the unit is now ready for its first patient. Parkin’s involvement has been rewarding.
