Parkin and EllisDon have been selected as preferred proponent following an extensive evaluation of a submission to design, build, partially finance and maintain a new patient care tower and Parkade at Penticton Regional Hospital.
Parkin has recently been awarded the anatomy teaching laboratories renovation project at the University of Toronto. The project will involve doubling the size of the existing anatomy labs to allow for larger student groups, working collaboratively, sharing findings and working on different cadavers in the same work space. Parkin will work with the university to meet program requirements and to establish a responsible budget.
Parkin is delighted be starting work on the Anatomic Pathology Project at SickKids. We will provide full range planning, including development of a functional program, design, and contract administration services. Parkin’s lab planners will be working with the SickKids facility planners and the Pathology Lab staff, using Lean principles to suggest ways to improve the work flow, consolidate services and create safer, more efficient workplaces.
