Evidence-based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC)

Evidence-based Design Accreditation and Certification (EDAC) was launched in 2008 by The Center for Health Design to further the promotion of Evidence Based Design and increase public awareness of the significance of research in healthcare design. As an Advocate firm, Parkin is one of only 25 architectural design firms in all of North America which dedicates that 25% of our healthcare designers will study for and pass the EDAC exam within a one year period.  By June 20, 2012 all certifications will be in place. With the launch of the new EDAC exam in April, several people will be ‘test driving’ the new version and will be reporting back on the differences.
